Small World
3/29/2010: Yesterday at the art show, a couple of friends from 20+ years ago came by my exibit space. They were in AZ visiting a friend for a week. We haven't seen each other or talked for such a long time. Surprise, they walk into the art show!

MBV Hikers Coffee Flats

Hike across Coffee Flats on Friday 3/19. This panoramic photo was put together from ten individual exposures. The point in the distance is Miner's Needle and to the right of that, Cathedral Rock is visible.

2010 Art Fest
Art Festival at Mountain Brook Village

Here is my sales set up from the recent Art Festival. I had three canvas wraps: the Chives (panorama, visible in this picture), a detail shot of a red rose & a painterly version of the west side of Superstition Mountain. I also have several images of Apache Land Movie Ranch (which unfortunately burned to the ground several years ago).

This was the most commented on image at the Art Festival. Had lots of people who were impressed with my Fine Art images.

Been working all week on getting images printed, matted & packaged for the MBV Art Festival this Saturday. This will be my first live "show." There has been so many things to think about and get ready. Got "grid walls" to be able to hang framed images and "bins" to display non-framed images. Am currently working on an "Artist's Statement." Most of you know I prefer to let my images "speak" for themselves, but it seems that it is a requirement.
