February 2008-

20: sunset photo Beautiful sunset across the golf course tonight. I was grilling steaks, but had to grab the camera and take a few shots--burned the steaks.

07: Elvis ChapelThis is the "Elvis Chapel;" from the old western movie town called Apacheland. Apacheland burned down a few years ago. Only the chapel and the "Rifleman Barn" survived the fire because they were a distance away from main street. Elvis' movie "Charro" was filmed at Apacheland and the old TV western the "Rifleman" was filmed here, too. Many other films also (link to Superstition Mt. Museum).

06: Yesterday there was snow on the Superstitions. I captured a couple of interesting images. Including one of the clouds that just clung to the top of the mountain all day.

04: Have gone out to Superstition Mountain to capture it's many 'moods.' Most recent was a twilight shot-the sky is dark and only a bit of red glow on the mountain. I also have an image of storm clouds over the mountain and the 'Normal' view from the south.

January 2008- 07: Rain on the golf course in Gold Canyon.

December: 16: Finished portraits of the CBR officers and committee heads. Click for Pics.

10th. The great grandson (different Grandson's son) was over for his 6 month birthday pics (see images to left).

November: 15: Saw this "Sky Highway" with 10 jet contrails.

10: Extreme Makeover - Home Edition from Cheyenne aired. Now I can reveal my still shots--I was one of two "Behind-the-Scenes" photographers. The Carter Bros. Construction company was general contractor (see the Carter Bros.under Group Portraits-left).

7: Just finished my Grandson's Senior pics. I tried some of the "Jump Portraits." He likes them as does his mother! That's always good.
